2. Technical Principle

 

2.1 How It Works

 

The attenuator core operates on the principle of controlled plastic deformation. When subjected to impact loading, the aluminum honeycomb structure crushes progressively at a near-constant force, converting kinetic energy into deformation work and thermal energy.
