Moisture Proof Aramid Honeycomb Panels With Carbon Fiber Prepreg for Further Carving is a very light weight aramid honeycomb panel comprised of an aramid honeycomb core with two carbon fiber epoxy resin prepreg produced surface plates. The surface plates are produced from carbon fiber prepreg impregnated with epoxy resin.
A carbon fiber unidirectional (UD) fabric is the one in which the majority of yarns (80% and above) distributed in one direction only. A small amount of fibre or other material may be used in other direction with the main intention being to hold the primary yarn in position, although the other fibres may also offer some structural properties. Some weavers of 0/90° fabrics term a fabric with only 75% of its weight in one direction as a unidirectional, whilst for others the unidirectional designation only applies to those fabrics with more than 90% of the fibre weight in one direction. Unidirectionals usually have their primary fibres in the 0° direction (along the roll a warp UD) but can also have them at 90° to the roll length (a weft UD).
Features of Aramid Honeycomb Panel:

F. Excellent creep and fatigue properties, can be used in strict requirement for long term use
G. Extremely high wet strength, can be used in high humidity environment. Easy to process with reduced production cost;
H. corrosion-resistant (not corroded by moisture or other medium or electrochemical reaction with carbon fiber, like a metal honeycomb);
I. superior heat and sound insulation performance, compared with metal and glass fiber materials, under the same weight with better insulation and sound insulation performance, more comfortable and energy conservation and environmental protection;
J. Easy forming process, compared with the metal honeycomb, the aramid honeycomb can be curved form, the processing is more convenient, the operation is more convenient.
